Carer's Discount - New for this Season!
Portishead Players is now offering discounted tickets to carers through the use of the CEA Card (Cinema Exhibitors' Association)
How it works
Upon production of a CEA card (which is held by a disabled person), Portishead Players will offer discounted tickets for the carer as follows:
Matinee – Free of charge to the carer
Evenings – Junior rate ticket (currently £8.00)
One discounted ticket per card holder will be offered for each show only.
The card holder will pay full price (currently £10.00)

The CEA Card
• The CEA Card is issued on behalf of the UK Cinema Association (UKCA)
• CEA Card is operated by Cinemas but is also used by theatres as proof of disability when claiming a discounted ticket for a carer.
• Disabled people can apply online or by post for the CEA card - www.ceacard.co.uk at a cost of £6.00 per card.
Eligibility
The applicant must be able to provide proof of receipt of a disability benefit to be eligible eg:
1. Disability Living Allowance (DLA);
2. Attendance Allowance (AA);
3. Blind Persons Registration;
4. Personal Independence Payment (PIP); or
5. Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).
Discounts will only be applied when purchasing a full priced ticket and upon production of the CEA card.
Times and Venue
Evening performances commence at 7.30 pm - Saturday matinee performances for the musical show/pantomime start at 2.00 pm.

The Hall now has improved facilities for disabled people and is equipped with a new lift to cater for larger wheelchairs, automatic entrance doors and a disabled toilet.
